Salute to the 40′s, Chatham Dockyard.

This fair was like going back to the 1940′s itself! It was a wonderful event spread out across the site of the Chatham Dockyard where everyone got into the spirit and dressed up with victory rolls and fur coats. The works!! Even the little ones had gas masks and evacuation luggage labels.

Salute to the 40s, 2014

Sharing the stall again with From the Folly¬†we set up on the Friday ready for the weekend. We met some lovely stall holders all excited for the weekend ahead. Sure enough it was a great event with everyone in a jolly mood. Jemma of From the folly and I were all dressed up too… Red lippy all the way! This event happens once a year and I would thoroughly recommend it as a day out for next year. If you go, you should definitely dress up, that was half the fun. It was lovely to see some familiar faces too. My friend from the post office who takes my orders and sends them off, and also Gemma from FrouFrou Brides. She looked fab in her victory rolls. (I’ve seen quite a lot of her recently as that’s where I am getting my wedding dress from, eeek!!!)
