I had so many new ideas for this jewellery making hen party, too many ideas, thanks to Pinterest! I had thoughts of teapots, cakes, and old fashioned lemonade. It didn’t stop there.
In an idyllic part of Kent, at an Oast house surrounded by fields, the lovely Kate and her hens arrived and were greeted with tea and homemade shortbread.
After they finished their first round of tea, we went through to make our jewellery. Set out on a table were a set of tools and a page of helpful hints for each hen, and a huge array of charms, beads and other fun materials with which to make their jewellery. And what lovely pieces they made too.
After much concentration they had earned their afternoon tea.

Here is what some lovely ladies had to say about my jewellery making parties:
“Thank you so much for today Charlotte. We had a lovely time, Kate loved it and you looked after us so well, thank you!”
“Very happy hens! Thank you soooooo much. You were brilliant, and so patient with us! Such pretty jewellery. So much nicer than the usual hen activities.”
